Vil.la Joana Residency

In 2023, I was awarded a residency at Vil.la Joana, a 19th century masia (country estate) in the Collserolla Forest above Barcelona, which is now part of the museum system of the City of Barcelona.  I was just awarded another residency for 2026, and I will  use it to finish translating Al cel (To Heaven) by Jacint Verdaguer, the first posthumous publication after his death at the villa in 1902.  Look for poems-in-progress in "Hot Off the Drafting Table"later this summer.
